The Sahrawi Dilemma. Have you seen my country?

We have all heard about the Middle East crisis. The entire mess with Palestine. The thousands of refugees escaping from war-torn Iraq. The millions dying because of the selfish decisions of few, powerful so-called leaders, like in North Korea, Sudan, Zimbabwe and others. Noboby ever heard about the Sahwari, and their country located in Western Sahara. These people got together and fought for their independence from Spain, and were punk'd as other african nations such as Morocco and Mariutina wanted to get a piece of the young and weak nation, to satisfy their hunger for expansion. As always, the brave Popular Front for the Liberation of the Saguia el Hamra or Polisario Front, for short, fought an intense resistance against the invadors. Then again, comes the useless, UN, and sets up a cease-fire that gave the evildoers what they wanted. More land. And the Sahwari Arab Democratic Republic is currently living in exile in Tindouf, Algeria, along, with their 102,000 Sahwari refugees. This nation and Taiwan are the only nations that are not members of the UN. But Taiwan has a capital, it's one of the 90's "Asia Tigers", an important economical and technological power in Asia.

Noboby wants to know about this fact. And the mighty powers don't care, because "Sahwari-land" has plenty of phosphates, iron ore and maybe, oil, to exploit. Nobody wants a strong, independent sovereign nation to be created there. I have been reseaching more, and I never knew that the reasons for the Vietnam War, were the same for today's Iraq War. OIL! When we will start being an hypocratic nation, and start promoting freedom and justice.
